About this piece
A candle for the in-between hour. Hand-poured in a jesmonite vessel of terracotta and burnt orange — the exact warm tones of the sky at civil dusk — and finished with clean gold lines applied by hand.

Made slowly, to be lived with. Light it when the day softens and let the warmth stay.
Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn. Allow a full melt pool on the first burn to prevent tunnelling. Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time. Keep away from draughts.
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or harsh cleaners. Slight variations in texture are part of its handmade character.
